Obituary

Burl William Morgan, age 83, of Calera, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was a US Army veteran in the Korean War, following which he was stationed around Europe. He was a long-haul and short-haul truck driver for over 30 years. He attended Shelby Church of God and got to travel with The Commanders gospel group, which he enjoyed. He was always young at heart, loved to fish and loved spoiling children. He made friends everywhere and will be terribly missed.
